SportWorks TALKS: How Volleyball World and the FIVB are “growing the game”

In recent years, the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) has been investing in further developing volleyball’s potential to be a crowd gatherer and to fill stadiums throughout the world. This has multiple impacts – influencing volleyball as a business, its capacity of fostering new generations of players and society’s desire to incorporate volleyball as a sport played in daily life and in social development projects. In this upcoming SportWorks TALK, Luiz Fernando Lima, Chairman of Volleyball World and FIVB’s former Secretary General, will guide us through the initiatives the Federation is undertaking to “grow the game”, making it now the leading sports on social media. From changes in volleyball rules to reshaping volleyball brands and competitions, Fernando will share guidelines that may inspire other sports that aim at growing their own game.
