Swiss Open Gstaad 2021

With one of the most spectacular backdrops of any ATP Tour tournament, the Swiss Open Gstaad is situated in south-western Switzerland, near the border with France.

The «Swiss Open Gstaad» is not only the most traditional ATP tournament on clay played in Switzerland, but it is also unique in the world for its environment. For more than 100 years, the elite of tennis has been fighting for victory in the middle of this charming mountain village, surrounded by cottages and green meadows.

Stefan Edberg, llie Nastase and Roger Federer have already engraved their names among the winners of the tournament. The biggest player of all time was also awarded his first wildcard on the ATP circuit in Gstaad before becoming world n°1. In 2013 he came back to the Bernese Oberland for the biggest pleasure of the spectators. Roger Federer was presented with a cow during a homecoming celebration in 2003 after winning his first Wimbledon title.

This year the tournament will be graced by stars like Roberto Bautista Agut, Denis Shapovalov, Casper Ruud and Cristian Garin.
